SRA Presents Workforce Data to QUIN Council

September 27, 2011

As part of a contract award from Workforce Florida, Inc. to develop a demand side customer satisfaction index, SRA Research Group presented preliminary findings at the Quality and Unity in Nursing (QUIN) conference held at the Orlando Hilton on September 27, 2011.  QUIN consists of representative from 19 membership organizations which represent nursing interests in Florida.

The meeting commenced with a brief introduction of the project by Mary Lou Brunell, Vice Chair of Workforce Florida, Inc.  The purpose of the meeting was to obtain reactions from nursing healthcare leadership regarding the preliminary results and gain input for moving the project forward.  SRA shared initial findings about the size and scope of the healthcare industry in Florida, review insights from in-depth interviews with healthcare industry leaders, and test hypotheses from the initial quantitative surveys completed in Florida.

Workforce Florida, Inc. intends to use the information and data gained through this research study to guide sound healthcare workforce development policy, planning, and resource distribution activities.
