Mascot spotlight - Brandy
Brandy joined the SRA team 6 years ago and was
quickly promoted to the position of office therapist.
Her professional credentials include a pedigree
in Golden Retriever and an innate - though untrained
- ability in human psychology.
Somehow, Brandy knows exactly who needs attention
and who needs to be left alone. She comforts without
being pushy or obtrusive. Her approach might include
a nose-nudge to the hand, tail-wag, happy-to-see-you
body wiggle, or a soft sigh as she drops to the
floor next to a desk. She lets people know that
she is there for them and willing to listen.
Brandy's special brand of TLC extends to the mail
carrier and company vendors. Everyone matters to
Brandy.
A typical day for Brandy consists of making the
rounds, taking a nap, going for a walk, then starting
the cycle over again. Somewhere during her schedule,
she makes time to beg from those willing to share
food, a caress, or just a word.
Brandy came to us as a rescued dog. ‡
